Old Family Recipe for Zucchini Bread

Zucchini Bread
Hello again friends, this is an old family recipe for zucchini bread, it is as follows.
3 eggs
1 cup oil
2 cups sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups shredded, unpeeled zucchini
1 can 8 ¼ oz. crushed pineapple (drained)
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 ½ tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
¾ tsp. nutmeg
¼ tsp. baking powder
1 cup ground nuts
This recipe makes 2 loaves in 5x9 pans. You can also substitute the ground nuts for a number of things such as chocolate chips, mashed bananas, dried fruit, or just leave them out if you want.

Beat eggs, oil, sugar, and vanilla until thick.

Stir in remaining ingredients.
Mix well.

Pour in to greased and floured pans.

Bake at 350 for one hour or until center comes out clean on toothpick.
Let cool.
Remove from pans and slice.

Enjoy!!

Hand Corn Sheller

Hello this is our first blog post. We are new at this, hope it works out!!
This weekend we built a corn sheller box for our corn sheller.
Supplies we used are:
4- 1x4x8 pine boards
1- 8’’ furring strip
1- pint black enamel paint
2- black handles
Wood screws

First I cut 11 pcs. at 32’’ from the 1x4’s. Second I cut 8 pcs. at 10.5’’ from the 1x4’s. Third I cut 1 pc. at 14’’ with a 30* cut from the 1x4. Fourth I cut 1 pc. at 9’’ with a 30* cut from the 1x4’s. Fifth I cut 4pcs. at 13’’ from the furring strips.

After cutting all the pieces I assembled each side as seen in the pictures, once a got all the side connected in a box form I attached the bottom boards.

Once I finished building the box I drilled two holes to mount my sheller, then painted the entire box with black enamel paint. Once the paint dried I installed two handles.

There is the finished product! Haven’t gotten to use it yet but I’m looking forward to. Hope you enjoyed it, and hope this post made sense. (p.s. have no idea why my pic came out all different ways Sorry!!)
